. Did anything unusual happen on the day of your win? "No, it was a normal day; nothing unusual happened, except for winning the jackpot." What was your initial reaction to your big win? "It was hard to believe at first. The realization of having won this amount only came later." What was your family's reaction? "My family couldn't believe it at first, but were very excited for me." How do you plan on spending your winnings? "Initially I want to invest some of it and also share part of my winnings with my son and daughter who are currently attending university." How will this win affect your life? "It hasn't made a drastic change to our standard of living. However, with these winnings we will have enough funds to travel and see the world." What do you do for a living? "Currently I'm unemployed. I haven't been working for the past 9 years as a result of an injury. I used to be a welder, making doors, gates, burglar bars and more." Are you married or single? Do you have kids? "Yes, I have been married for almost 25 years. I have a daughter and a son, both attending university at the moment." How long had you been playing on the day of your win? "I must have been playing the slots for about 2 hours when I hit the jackpot." What do you do for good luck? "If you don't play you don't have a chance of winning." What is your dream holiday destination? "My wife and I have wanted to go to Madeira for quite some time now." What do you like to do in your spare time? "I frequently volunteer and help out at our local municipality in my spare time." What 3 things would you take with you on a deserted island? "I'd take: 1) my wife, of course, 2) lots of food and drink, 3) a yacht to come and go as I please." What is your ultimate goal in life? "My goal in life right now, seeing that I'm almost 50 and partially disabled, is to secure my kids' future and well being. I want to see them have a good start in life.
